White Castle ApplicationWhite Castle is a well-known fast food restaurant that people love. If you enjoy the restaurant and customer service, you’re a great candidate for the job. White Castle Interview Questions

The questions are all about your skills and why you feel you are the best candidate.

What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses? Your strengths are obviously what make you a better employee. Your weaknesses should be a compliment to yourself, such as you work too hard or you’re too organized. Don’t put yourself down.

Give some instances in which you anticipated problems. This is a tricky question. They are asking for you to describe a time where you knew something had gone wrong. For example, if a customer orders something you’re out of and you knew they would be upset.

Give me an example that best describes your organizational skills. Talk about how your weekly schedule is, how you organize your schoolwork vs. work, and how you balance all of it.

How do you decide what gets top priority when scheduling your time? For example, if you’re a student, talk about how you schedule time to do your homework in between your work schedule.

What personal weakness has caused you the greatest difficulty in school or at work? Again, your weakness should be a compliment to yourself. You work too hard, so sometimes you worry that you aren’t doing enougy.

When you are not studying or working, what types of activities do you enjoy? This is a personality question. They want to know what you do for fun and what you do that may interfere with your work schedule.

Why do you want this job? Discuss not only your love for White Castle, but also what you love about customer service and helping people. Your answer shouldn’t be something generic like you just need a job.

What do you think of your previous boss? Never criticize your former employer. Even if you disliked him/her, there should still be something you liked about that person. Use that example when answering this question.

These questions may vary depending on the management of the restaurant, but remember to answer clearly and display your customer service skills.

Interview Tips

Your interview with White Castle will include a manager and maybe a shift leader. They ask general background questions, such a work history, education, and skills you may possess. Some stores require a basic assessment test as well. Remain confident during and answer questions clearly. Make sure you have eye contact with the interviewer and try not to fidget.

Most of your questions will revolve around how you interact with customers. If you can, always have an example as to how you would assist someone and the result you’re hoping for. Assuming you have previous customer service experience, try to use a specific example of helping someone. You should always have a question or two of your own.

Sometimes, candidates are hired following the interview; for those that aren’t, always follow up at least two to three days after the interview. You do not want to appear pushy, but you will need to let them know that you are still interested in the position after the meeting concludes.

Fast food jobs work around your schedule and are great for students. If you’re looking for your first job, this is a great place to start as it gives you necessary customer service experience.
