Golfsmith is the largest speciality retailer for golfing equipment and accessories in the world. They sell all types of golf related merchandise – golf clubs, shoes, apparel, technology/GPS, balls, carts and other accessories.
Golfsmith is currently based in Austin, Texas which is where it was also founded in 1967 by Carl and Barbara Paul. They originally focused on providing custom parts of golf clubs and later expanded into speciality golf retail.
They have over 150 stores across the United States and Canada – where they operate under the name Golftown. They also have a large online retailing business delivering across the world to almost any country.
