THE OPPORTUNITY

Manages the Facilities support function within a specific region. Develops Facilities staff and ensures restaurants are receiving preventative maintenance, repair services, and remodeling assistance in a timely, cost- effective and efficient manner. Forecasts and manages Facilities maintenance budgets and oversees quality control within the region. Works closely with Field Leaders and Operations Directors to communicate and enhance the support provided by the Facilities maintenance function.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In addition to following Chipotle’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Overseeing Facilities management guidelines and procedures, including
Repairs & maintenance contracts and agreements based on market needs
Capital re-investment projects from implementation through completion
Fixtures, furnishing and equipment purchasing
One (1) year warranty walk through visits working with Facilities Coordinator
Managing, mentoring and developing Facilities Coordinators and Specialists
Ownership program management working with local Facilities Coordinator to ensure regular compliance
Projecting and managing Facilities management budgets utilizing site surveys and visits, and working with Field Leaders & Operations Directors
Sending out project status updates on a bi-weekly basis
Implementing restaurant remodel projects and other projects involving Facilities; this process closely follows the new store construction process including ICP’s, kick-off meetings on projects exceeding $75,000, and turnover on all projects exceeding $25,000
Performing annual quality control visits with primary vendors in the market to ensure they are effectively servicing the needs of our restaurants; includes rate negotiation, preventative maintenance contracts, and scope of work reinforcement
Participating in monthly conference calls with Operation Directors team, and Facilities Specialist and Coordinator teams, to discuss issues, concerns, or other pertinent information

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

B.A./B.S. in relevant field or an equivalent in education and experience
Postgraduate study in an area directly related to Facilities Management preferred
Certification in facilities management through International Facilities Management Association or other organization preferred
Knowledge/Skills

Working knowledge of and the ability to use a PC as well as Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of and the ability to use facilities management software preferred
Working knowledge of service and maintenance costs, and procedures for various building systems
Knowledge of rules and regulations governing facilities safety requirements
Knowledge of FFE purchasing on a national level
Work Experience

Eight (8) to ten (10) years experience in Facilities maintenance or related field
Experience in the restaurant industry preferred
Travel

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $141,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
