The Data & Analytics team at Chipotle empowers teams and individuals to make timely and impactful decisions through transformative insights and access to data. To achieve this vision, we are looking for an experienced and passionate data product leader and problem solver to join our product team.

As the Product Manager of our data platform and integrations, you will have the opportunity to shape and define the strategy for our data platform and integration work. You’ll collaborate with technology and business teams to understand their pain-points and business needs to identify opportunities for new features and enhancements. You’ll work closely with our data engineering, architecture, product management and Agile delivery teams to translate our strategy into action and oversee its delivery – striking the right balance between urgent business needs and achieving our future state vision. You’ll be a thought leader and collaborator, harnessing the expertise of our team to introduce new features, capabilities, emerging technologies, and apply industry trends ensuring we’re always evolving our platform.


Data Product Vision & Strategy:

· Collaborate with our product, data engineering, and architecture teams to define and communicate a compelling product strategy and vision for our data platform – providing our team with a blueprint that will guide our work and ensure alignment.

· Proactively seek out new use cases, problem statements, and/or hypotheses to inform new prototypes, concepts, or features.

· Conduct research, user interviews, and needs analysis to gather insights and perspectives on how to evolve and improve our strategy or add more value for our stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement:

· Lead and facilitate workshops and meetings to engage stakeholders to understand gaps and opportunities for platform optimization, performance improvement, and scalability.

· Conduct research, user interviews, and needs analysis to fully understand and stay in-touch with how users and teams interact with our data platform – using this knowledge to shape and guide our priorities.

· Work closely with our internal product team to analyze and synthesize requirements to identify common patterns, overlaps or dependencies – ensure we are working on the right things and our near-term actions connect with our long-term vision.

· Provide regular updates, conduct demos, and share progress and communicate roadmaps with stakeholders.

Product Roadmap & Development:

· Build and maintain our product roadmap in partnership with our stakeholders ensuring our work delivers against our long-term strategy while tackling tech debt.

· Partner with our Agile Delivery Office to bring our strategy to life by overseeing the delivery and release of product features and initiatives – ensuring issues and obstacles are being removed and addressed while keeping our team engaged and energized.

· Work with our product owners and delivery team to ensure requirements are documented with enough clarity, completeness, and alignment with stakeholder need.

· Provide clarity and guidance to the development team by participating in agile ceremonies and meetings, ensuring issues and obstacles don’t become blockers.

Platform Innovation & Evolution:

· Partner with our engineering and architecture team to ensure solutions meet the needs of our business while also maintaining alignment with our future state architecture – ensure we’re making the right tradeoffs between immediate need and our achieving long-term vision.

· Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies to further evolve our data platform, ensuring it remains innovative and relevant.


Technical Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in a data-oriented field of study (e.g., management information systems, information systems, computer science, mathematics, economics, and/or quantitative sciences.)

Proven track record in leading initiatives involving data architecture, data engineering, data science, data platforms, database management, and/or complex data integrations.
Prefer someone with prior experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or report builder – able to relate and empathize with our users.
Experience or familiarity leading projects on the following tech stack: FiveTran, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Server, Snowflake, Power BI, Alteryx

Product Management:

3-5 years of experience leading and delivering Data & Analytics and/or Business Intelligence initiatives, specifically on data platform and integrations
Able to define purpose, vision, and/or work collaboratively with others to define direction where ambiguity exists. Unafraid to pull together subject matter experts from across the team to rally around a problem/opportunity and plot a course of action.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $126,000 to $176,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
