A person in this position should also be able to provide technical support and troubleshooting help for their customers calling in, which means they must need to be familiar with the technology that their company provides. Telecommunications engineer: This position is very technical. A telecommunications engineer is responsible for designing and setting up the wireless networks that a person enjoys the benefits of when using their phone.
